Die Inselnacht
Insellein, Froschgesang. Anbruch eines Schwerregens.
Der Wind ruht, das Wasser still. Der Wind weht, die Blätter fort.
Am Schattenbaum lehnt eine Inselfrau.
Nebelwald, Regen fällt. Gleichgesinnte begegnen sich.
Aus dem Chinesischen ins Deutsche übersetzt von Tong Yali.

小島蛙鳴大雨襲。風靜水止，風起葉興。
島上有女倚樹蔭。霧中林雨，且遇知音。
